ABOUT CORY GALBRAITH:
Cory Galbraith is a seasoned professional radio broadcaster who worked at major market radio stations including 680 News (formerly CFTR) in Toronto. A former producer of nationally syndicated radio programs in the 1980s, he is familiar with the needs of radio programmers. Cory is also a long-time jazz fan and Christian who saw the opportunity to combine his passion for jazz with his spiritual beliefs.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Jazz has its roots in gospel music and hymns – becoming popular after World War II as a form of religious expression. Today, jazz continues to be a spiritual force. Many churches in the U.S. feature jazz in their services, partly as a way to improve attendance. Jazz artists who are “believers” are using their music to help promote greater peace and harmony in an otherwise troubled world. In this unique series, we put the focus on these fascinating artists – both past and present, instrumentalists and vocalists – and their spirit-based compositions.
